Some may be afraid to try sushi because of the whole “raw fish” thing. But if you really want to try it and can’t decide what to try first, try rolls. Rolls are more approachable, and often available with cooked ingredients. Sushi rolls start off with the basic fish wrapped in seaweed and rice. Then other ingredients are added in for flavor.
Most of these ingredients are familiar to you already, so it won’t be a shock to your taste buds. If you like spicy, try something with wasabi or sriracha. Try dipping them in soy sauce, topping with a small amount of wasabi, and don’t forget to cleanse your palate with the pieces of ginger on the side in between different rolls.
